Texts

System Texts can be maintained on the server using the Server Administration web application as shown below. The texts are saved in individual language property files in folder systemTexts/texts in the ebaseConf folder of the web application e.g. system texts in English might be saved in userdata/apps/<webappname>/ebaseConf/systemTexts/texts/EN.properties. These files can be copied between servers if required.
To edit texts in a single language, select the language from the dropdown, change the text, then click Save System Texts. The Where Used column describes the circumstances where the text is displayed.
Select the Translate texts into other languages tab to align the texts in two languages. Texts can also be translated externally – click here for details.
